    • Fascinating nature tour within the resort. The resort is an ecosystem in itself; the in-house naturalist will guide the guests through these nature trails that help them understand the intricacies and mysteries of nature. Guests are encouraged to plant saplings during these tours.
    • Apart from the great food on the menu, the resort will also contribute to your culinary skills with their cooking lessons. The Green Woods chef conducts daily half hour cooking demonstrations and of a vegetarian and non vegetarian dish from Kerala's cuisine.
    • Cultural extravaganza conducted every evening at the resort is a real treat for performing art lovers.
    • Cordial and efficient staff. From the grand garland welcome, the resort staff will take that extra effort to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. They are well informed on the botanical and wildlife aspects of the region, have many suggestions for activities in the area and help in arranging trips to nearby sightseeing locations.
    • Crash course on draping a sari. The staff at the resort will demonstration of how to drape a sari and wrap a mundu, the traditional attire of men, and will help the guests look majestic in Kerala style.
    • Cosy, old school coffee shop high up on the trees.  Built in the manner of a tree house; on long stilts, with wooden walls and thatch roof, guests enter the coffee shop through a rope bridge. The interior of the coffee shop resembles the popular roadside tea houses of rural Kerala with rustic wooden and bamboo furniture and a counter adorned with cinema posters. Set high amidst the trees and open on all sides and snuggly positioned in the green canopy, it’s a great place to chill and socialize with other guests.
    • The resort has a forest tree house away from the resort premises and deep in the forest. With all basic amenities in place, the tree house which is quite a trek into the forest has a resident butler and valet who live next to the tree house.

    • The resort offers a wide range of indoor games including a children’s park with many game areas, a trampoline, table tennis, carom board, chess and foosball table.
    • An excellent place for a botanical experience with its splendid share of  fruits, spice plants and trees. The trees in the resort are labeled with their name and place of origin for the benefit of guests.
    • Classical an folk rtists are invited to Green Woods and performances are staged every evenin. Traditional classical and folk music shows accompany dinner beside the swimming pool daily.
    • Green Woods resort is close to the Periyar Tiger reserve, which is home to around 1000 elephants, 35 tigers, plenty of bison, wild boar, langurs and deer and filled with evergreen and semi evergreen rainforest trees. The Pamba and Periyar rivers flow through the sanctuary and it is a treat to watch the animals, including tigers, drink water and bathe in the lake here. Whether you opt for a nature walk or jeep safari, you will experience the pages of ‘Jungle Book’ come to life.
