Kochi Airport to Fort Kochi

Once you reach your destination- Fort Kochi, check into the hotel and proceed for your tour to Fort Kochi. Located at a distance of 12 km from the main city in Kerala, Fort Kochi has an amazing history that still draws visitors from all over the world to its shores. On walking down the roads of Fort Kochi, you will get to see old houses built by the Portuguese, Dutch as well as British. You can start your tour from Kochi Beach, which is one of the finest beaches in Kerala and is definitely most popularly visited beach.

Kochi to Munnar

Checout from teh resort in Kochi after breakfast and we will proceed on a drive to Munnar and will stop in the waterfalls on the way. If elephants are sheltered at Kodanad and you can enough time after your arrival in Kochi Airport, we will arrange for an Elephant Center Visit as well. You can also stop at Neriamangalam bridge to watch Periyar river . Take pitstops on the Valara waterfalls and Cheeyappara Waterfalls on the way to Munnar . Check into the resort and Overnight at the resort

Munnar Sightseeing

Kovalam to Kanyakumari

With three adjacent, crescent shaped beaches, the lifestyle of Kovalam residents personifies understated grace. Popularized by Europeans, the beaches of Kovalam used to be topless beaches in the 1930s. They have been banned soon after, however, the beauty of Kovalam still remains. If you are looking for energetic party life, Kovalam has a host of discos and clubs that cater to the younger crowd. However, if peace and relaxation is what you seek, indulge in one of the many traditional ayurvedic spas. Massage parlours are dotted throughout Kovalam and offer all kinds of massaged. With its traditional healing techniques, you will leave Kovalam feeling fresh. The journey to Kanyakumari is not very long and can be completed in 2.5 hours by road. If you are traveling in a large group or with family, hiring a private car or taxi is your best bet. You can select the best option from a number of cars available. The standard fare is Rs 5 per kilometer. However, the rate can vary. Alternatively, train is also a good option to minimize travel time between Kovalam and Kanyakumari. Trivandrum Nemom is the nearest railway station which is around 8 kilometers from the Thiruvanthanpuram Airport.

Kovalam to Trivandrum

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed for sightseeing in Trivandrum based on the time of your flight or train.

 

There are a number of tourist attractions in Trivandrum, India. A must on every tourist itinerary for Trivandrum, the Padmanabhaswami temple with its gopuram (tower) soaring majestically upwards, is believed to be one of the 108 shrines sacred to the Vaishnavites in India. Besides this magnificent temple, Trivandrum offers a great deal more. There is the Observatory to start with, established over a hundred years ago in Trivandrum in India. In Trivandrum one can visit the Museum with its profusion of gables and turrets. A repository of fine works of art, the chief attraction here is the 250-year-old temple car made for Lord Vishnu, artistically designed and ornamented. Besides this, objects carved out of wood, models of temple, antique jewelry, etc., make the museum worth a visit.
